4th Mordialloc Sea Scouts
Our youth members design their programs and run many of the activities. They are responsible for their learning, their achievements (and failures), their future.
4th Mordialloc Sea Scouts is a large and active Group in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs. Representing all Sections of scouting 4th Mordialloc has provided the local community with outdoor training, development and experiences for over 60 years.
We are focused on building our youth members skills in water based activities. Living near the bay we want to give everyone an opportunity to make the most of this amazing resource and build an appreciation for it.
On any given weekend our members are participating in group, regional and state activities and have opportunities to participate in international camps and volunteer programs.

Joeys (5-8 years old)
Joeys meet on Thursdays from 5.30-6.30pm
Joeys are Discovering Adventure - exploring the world and making new friends .

Cubs (8-11 years old)
Cubs meet on Thursdays from 6.50-8.30pm.
Cubs are Creating their own path - developing their sense of self and designing their own adventures.

Scouts (11-15 years old)
Scouts meet on Tuesdays 6.30-8.30pm.
Scouts are Exploring the Unknown - exploring and forming their personal identity and finding new ways of expressing themselves

Purpose
The purpose of of the Scout Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
Scouting has shaped the development of youth for more than 100 years. Scouts are in every part of our community and we are one of the biggest and most successful youth organisations in Australia and the world.
The main aim of Scouting is to provide an adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive program to youth everywhere which teaches life skills and leadership. With more than 17,000 youth members and 5,000 adult volunteers in Victoria alone, registration numbers are booming.
